altThe stars were out at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center when our donors mingled with the cast of the show, Little House on the Prairie, the Musical after the October 29 performance.

More than 50 donors joined a full house at TPAC for Goodwill Night on Broadway and enjoyed the story of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s life on the prairie.  Those donors took advantage of 10 percent discount on tickets to the show when they gave their gently-used items to Goodwill throughout September and October.  Melissa Gilbert, who starred in the television version show Little House on the Prairie, played the role of Ma in the musical.

After the show, the cast greeted our donors at a dessert reception, which was graciously catered by Ellen and Dan Einstein, who own Sweet 16th,  a bakery in East Nashville.  Cast members chatted with our donors, including a number of young girls who came to the show dressed as Laura.

Mom and donor, Rhonda Schremmer, who brought her daughter and a friend to the show said, “Meeting the cast members made the show so much more memorable and really special for our little girls.”
