(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) -- Giving to Goodwill has just become easier for donors in Murfreesboro. Goodwill has opened a donation site at 3060 South Church Street in the Food Lion Shopping Center. This new site is Goodwill's fourth in the Murfreesboro area and the 63rd donation site in the middle and west Tennessee communities served by our Goodwill. Other Murfreesboro locations include the Murfreesboro Goodwill store at 710 Memorial Blvd., and attended donation sites at the Murfreesboro Athletic Club Plaza and at Lowes.
"Business at our retail stores has grown tremendously over the last few months. This new donation site in Murfreesboro, and others which will be announced soon, will help us maintain a steady flow of merchandise into our stores," says Karl Houston, the senior director of donations. He added, "We've had to hire two new employees to work in this new donation center. It's a real bonus for us to provide new job opportunities in Murfreesboro."
Donations to Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee are sold in 32 retail stores throughout middle and west Tennessee and those purchases fund Goodwil's mission of providing jobs and job training. The South Church Street site will be open Monday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. To find the Goodwill donation site most convenient to your location, please visit www.giveit2goodwill.org.
