(Nashville, Tenn.) - Goodwill's new store in Antioch has opened in the Mt. View Marketplace, located at 3540 Murfreesboro Road. The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony will take place Thursday, March 18 at 8:50 a.m. and the doors are expected to open at 9:00 a.m. for shopping. Goodwill is also opening a new Donation Express Center in Jackson .
Eight jobs have been added to Goodwill’s workforce thanks to the opening of the new Mt. View store including retail personnel, processing employees, Donations Express Center attendants and employees in the company’s primary processing plant in Nashville. Eight employees from the Priest Lake Goodwill store, which has closed, transfered to the Mt. View location.
The Mt. View store is 13 thousand square feet and includes a drive-through Donations Express Center. This store is a build-to-suit which means it has been built to Goodwill’s specifications. A Publix and Subway are already located in this new shopping plaza.
The following day, Friday, March 19, Goodwill will open a new Donations Express Center on Oakfield Road in the Jackson/Madison County Convenience Center. Two new employees have been added to Goodwill’s workforce due to the opening of this site. It will be the sixty sixth Donations Express Center in the 46 counties served by Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc.
