Goodwill Industries 2008 Community Needs Assessment
Goodwill offers free job services to those in the middle and west Tennessee communities we serve. Whatever barrier is preventing you from earning a paycheck, we'll help you find the route to a job. To enroll, you need two pieces of identification from the list below:
Original Social Security Card
An up-to-date government issued picture ID such as a driver's license
Work permit or green card for immigrants
Contact the Career Solutions Center in your area for more information or call 615-346-1249 to sign up.
You can sign up for Goodwill's job training programs, if you:
have legal documents to work
haven't used or abused drugs within the last 30 days
don't have charges pending
don't need assistance performing work activities *
have been released to the community on parole or probation
You might know someone who needs help finding, getting or keeping a job. You might be that someone who needs help. If so, Goodwill may be your source for a successful job search. Goodwill's mission is to help people return to the workforce through counseling, training, and support.
Goodwill has 15 Career Solutions Centers in middle and west Tennessee. Our career counselors offer one-on-one sessions to help clients meet their individual career goals and provide assistance with job searches, resumes, job applications and interviewing skills. We also offer a number of classes and programs to educate and help you reach your goals.
