Did he pop the question over the holidays or on Valentine’s Day? Are you already looking for the perfect dress to wear on your special day? Are you a parent dreading the cost of a wedding gown? If you said ‘Yes’ to any of those questions, mark March 20 as one of the most important days on the way to the altar!
Choosing a wedding gown, without breaking the bank, will be fun at Goodwill’s first-ever Wedding Gala on Saturday, March 20, at the Rivergate store, 2101 Gallatin Pike North, Madison, 37115. The Wedding Gala is designed to take the bite out of paying for a wedding.
Goodwill will be selling more than 500 wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-bride dresses, tuxedos, veils, and all the other essentials needed to look perfect walking down the aisle. Bridal shops throughout middle Tennessee have generously donated their overstocked items and sample gowns to Goodwill.
Brides will find something old, something new and something blue (the borrowed will have to be donated from someone special!), including designer gowns at deeply discounted prices.
Jewelers from onlinegoodwill.com will also be onsite with beautiful jewelry including pearls, diamonds, vintage and other one-of-a-kind pieces for brides, their bridal parties and for wedding party gifts.
The early brides will get the gowns at the Wedding Gala and reception, Saturday, March 20 from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Goodwill’s Rivergate store. Brides and their fiancés will be treated to refreshments, giveaways and many other surprises throughout the morning.
