Goodwill makes back-to-school shopping easy for parents and students who want to look their best while saving big.  Although the Tennessee tax holiday is over, shoppers never pay sales tax on gently-used clothing or shoes at Goodwill.  The company’s 32 stores in middle and west Tennessee are stocked with everything from belts to backpacks to help make the transition from summer to school light on the wallet.

The prices at Goodwill equal savings that add up for bargain hunters and families with an eye on the bottom line who don’t want to sacrifice style or trends.  Plus, there are in-store sales almost every day of the week for even bigger savings.  Prices listed below are just an example of how little it costs for parents to buy what their children need or want for school.

•    $2.49 – Polo shirt, slacks and dresses (uniforms)
•    $2.99-$4.99 – Shoes

Teens 7x-16
•    $3.49 – Shirts, dresses, slacks, blouses, t-shirts (uniforms)
•    $3.99 – Backpacks
•    $1.99 – Belts
•    $4.99-$8.99 – Teen/adult shoes

Goodwill stores are open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
