Goodwill is ready for the hottest holiday shopping day of the year, Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.  Retail stores will open an hour early on Friday, November 26, to give shoppers an extra hour to find the perfect holiday gifts and decor.  To map out your holiday shopping and donating plans, we've put together a day-by-day schedule for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Wednesday, November 24

  • Retail store hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • All Donation Express Centers will close at 5:00 p.m.
  • Corporate office remain open 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.


Thanksgiving, November 25

  • All Goodwill operations will be closed in oberservance of the holiday to allow our Goodwill family members to enjoy time with their families.


Friday, November 26

  • Retail stores/store Donation Express Centers open an hour early and will operate from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
  • All other Donation Express Centers will operate regular hours from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with the exception of our drive-through sites, and Hermitage and Hillsboro High School, which will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
  • Donation Express Centers located in the Cartwright Street Recycling Center in Goodlettesville, Martha Suggs Creek Recycling Center in Wilson County, Carter's Creek Recycling Center in Columbia, Lavergne, Rockcrusher and Smyrna Recycling Center in Rutherford County, and White Bluff Recycling Center in Dickson County will be closed.


Saturday, November 27

  • All store and Donation Express Centers return to regular business hours.
