The holiday season is already here, and if you're still looking for the perfect gifts for family and friends on your list, Goodwill is a great place to shop, save and be surprised by the items you'll find.  For many folks, it's also the time to make your end-of-the-year donations to take advantage of tax deductions for 2010.  We've put together a day-by-day schedule for the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

Christmas Eve – Friday, December 24

Retail store hours – 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Donation Express Centers – hours will vary
•    Donation Express Centers at retail stores – 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
•    Stand-alone Donation Express Center trailers and Drive-through locations – 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
•    Williamson County Recycling Center – 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
•    Montgomery County Recycling Center – 7:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
•    Dickson County Recycling – Closed
•    Rutherford County Recycling Center – Closed December 23-26
•    Maury County Recycling Center – Closed December 24-27

Goodwill's corporate office will be closed.

Christmas, Saturday, December 25

All Goodwill operations will be closed in observance of the holiday.

Sunday, December 26

Goodwill operations will resume normal operating hours.

New Year’s Eve – Friday, December 31

Retail store hours – 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
•    Donation Express Centers at retail stores – 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
•    Donation Express Center drive-through sites – 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
•    All other Donation Express Centers will operate normal business hours

Goodwill’s corporate office will be closed.

New Year’s Day – Saturday, January 1

Retail store hours – 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
•    Donation Express Centers at retail stores – 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
•    Rutherford, Wilson Williamson, Maury, Montgomery and Madison County Recycling Centers – Closed
•    All other Donation Express Centers will resume normal operating hours.

Sunday, January 2

All Goodwill operations resume normal operating hours.
