The goal is simple – to connect Goodwill’s clients with others who find themselves in the job market, and with the counselors and trainers who may hold the key to helping open doors to new careers.  Goodwill is launching a dedicated Web site, www.goodwillcareersolutions.com, as a way to bring together this unique community.

The Web site will be similar in capabilities to other social media sites where there’s interaction, discussion groups available for those who come to Goodwill for job placement and training services, and access to the most current job search information in Middle and West Tennessee.

Clients who may not yet be computer savvy will also find that using www.goodwillcareersolutions.com will help them hone their digital literacy and social media skills, all important components for job seekers.  If a client does not have a home computer, My Career Connection, the client community, will provide a site for personal profiles, resumes and online job application information.

All 17 Goodwill Career Solutions Centers will be included in the Web site, with site-specific information.  Clients will find it easy to locate the nearest Career Solutions Center, read about each counselor, and learn about the programs that are offered at each center.  There will also be a Community Events Calendar section which will provide Tennesseans the most up-to-date information on local and regional job search and placement events.

www.goodwillcareersolutions.com will open its doors for business on June 13.  Join the community, talk about your job search, and gain tips on how to find a job with the help of Goodwill’s career counselors and those who are also in the job market.
